”Underdog Beats 19 People With Name “The Rear Receivers”

We have all seen the famous story of Rocky Balboa, the famous boxer who beat the Russian Machine after almost being knocked out several rounds before, or more recently the Kansas City Chiefs taking down the only undefeated team in the league with a new starting QB. The most unforgettable underdog story was, of course, the 2007 Giants, who in 2008, decided to take the New England Patriots and strip them from their undefeated season and a Super Bowl Title. I know you England Patriot fans hate this moment in history, but what can we do, its in the books. Today, however, an even more amazing underdog story is about to go down in history. Erwin Cabrera, a PhD student with many ASSpirations, attributes and talents decided to take on this little fascination that we all call Fantasy Football. Erwin did not know much about football, much less any of the players. He knew some QB’s were cute, some players were wide receivers and some were tight ends. He also knew which players held these positions respectively. All the other positions in the league were not important. Erwin decided to take on the Sackler Football League and give it all its got. He named his team, ” The Rear Receivers” and equipped the team with an arsenal of cute tight ends and wide receivers, not to mention he also took it upon himself to find a very controversial picture to represent his team (if you have not seen it, its definitely something you should see). After a shaky start and only winning 1 of his first 5 games, he took it upon himself to win the next 7 games, until he was defeated by Spicy Curry, a newly formed team from India. From here he rallied all his troops and went undefeated the rest of the season, taking the playoffs by storm and winning the final championship. His playoff picture was not pretty at all, he first had to take on the MIGHTY SACKLER COWBOYS who had tied for 1st place in the NFC division. He hung in there and made the Sackler Cowboys look a lot like his team name. Then he took on the MIGHTY BOLTS and there wasnt much of a game there, Erwin took charge and beat his contender by 40 points. His final struggle came at the championship game. Erwin had to battle a player who all he like to do is EAT GOD DAMN SNACKS, dont let the name fool ya; yes all he does is eat snacks, but this made his players unbelievably good. After a shaky start and being down a good amount of points, Erwin showed that a Fantasy Football game is not over until its over. With only one game left and his defense fighting his own wide receiver, with no more tight ends, he stuck on it and defeated Mr. Snack Eater to become the second champion of the Sackler Football League. Second place went to Adam Pont, with his controversial Devon team photo and snack eating attributes. Finally, third place went to Danny Reyes, who despite all the work he was doing in keeping his number one draft pick from collapsing (yes, we are talking about Philip Rivers) he managed to BOLT up his team and get in the records. With that I would like to congratulate our winners and leave you with a famous quote from our champion, “I’ve always wanted to win a fantasy football championship filled with straight men, with the name THE REAR RECEIVERS.” See you guys next season.
